Today will be a presentation of George Washington University's digital media class and demos of digital tools for use in the interactive arts. We'll be showing examples of character animation the students have created with Maya.
The demos will include live performance media using Max and Jitter, an example of realistic fluid particle simulation and new pieces using motion capture data. GW has a lab for capturing motion using sensors, it should prove quite useful in quickly creating animation based on movement.
Should be a lot of fun, and free pizza!
